Benedict Holland to join us for Bruch's Scottish Fantasy
Our season continues at 7.30 pm on 18th May 2013 when we welcome top violinist BENEDICT HOLLAND to join the orchestra in a performance of Max Bruch's ever-popular Scottish Fantasy. Ben has guest led many of the country’s major orchestras, including the BBC Philharmonic, Hallé, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Also on the programme will be Dvorak's lyrical Symphony No 5. Weber's effervescent overture to his opera Oberon completes what promises to be a great evening of music-making at its best.

The dates of the 2012-13 season of concerts are: 24th November 2012, 2nd March 2013 and 18th May 2013. A whole-day Workshop was held on 16th February 2013.
