Rosie Lomas to sing Mozart's Exultate Jubilate
We're delighted to welcome Rosie Lomas (soprano) to sing Mozart's much-loved motet Exultate Jubilate at our next concert on 30th May 2009. She is currently in her second year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, training as a classical singer. Rosie has had singing lessons since the age of 12 with Sally Wilks and now studies with Margaret Humphrey-Clarke. Rosie has a strong love of music and enjoys performing locally. She has won the Young Singer of the Year award for Alderly Edge Music Festival on two occasions.
Horn player Alison Young will play Mozart's Third Horn Concerto on 14th November 2009. Also in the programme: Schubert's Unfinished Symphony and Dvorak's Symphony No 8.
